The labor shortage has arrived and is hitting us with full force. Demographics have predicted it, certain sectors have been suffering for some time, but now it has hit us in full force...

The shortage of skilled workers was yesterday, today there is a shortage of workers from clerks to CEOs. There are simply not enough workers to fill the vacancies. This is exacerbated by the fact that Generation Z entering the labor market is working part-time and five days on the job means a whole workforce is missing. There is also a shortage of employees who have been enticed with an extra week of vacation. For every 52 employees, another man (or woman) year is missing. Then there are those who have earned an unpaid vacation, time off or a sabbatical.

Until a few years ago, we were used to being able to choose between two or three highly qualified candidates for an open position in the final round, but today we are happy if we have a single top profile at the end of a selection process. Many employers find it extremely difficult to make a decision in this situation. SELECTION is still deeply rooted in people's minds. An employer must be able to choose. You can only make a decision if you can choose between several candidates. Wrong, according to the dictionary, to decide means to make a decision or decide something, nothing else.
